About me: I’m 35, married to Gerald and we have two kids. Maddie was born in 01/07 and Sam was born in 05/10.

That picture up there? The Pioneer Woman took it at BlogHer ’09 in Chicago and posted it on her site. It’s my one claim to fame. (FYI: PW is every bit as gracious and genuine as you think she is.)

I have The Crazy and take medication for it. It’s best for everyone involved. Trust me on this one.

I had gastric bypass in 2008 and have lost 140lbs. I still struggle with my eating habits EVERY SINGLE DAY. It never gets easier.

I love the song Fat Bottom Girls by Queen.

I believe Amadeus is the greatest movie ever made.

I say things out loud that really ought to only be thought.

I can’t pronounce the word “rhinoceros.”

I read. A lot.

David Sedaris makes me laugh so hard I snort every single time I read or listen to one of his books.

I have an irrational phobia of dairy products and expiration dates.

My most embarrassing moment was falling out of the car when being dropped off at the homecoming dance my sophomore year. I went ass over teakettle in front of EVERYONE, including my boyfriend. AWKWARD doesn’t even begin to cover it.

I use caps lock far too frequently.

I am completely in love with the band Mumford & Sons.

I am a storehouse of trivia regarding actors, actresses, movies and TV shows. This is not purposeful. I’m kind of an idiot savant, really.

I’m left handed.

I have had a HUGE crush on Christina Hendricks since she played Mrs. Reynolds.

I love you just a little bit more if you know what the hell I’m talking about up there.
