Holiday Cards from Shutterfly

November 14th, 2011

In exchange for writing this post, I have been given 50 free holiday cards from Shutterfly. But I would have written it for nothing. All of my experiences with Shutterfly have been outstanding and I’ll be a life-long customer.

Holiday cards from Shutterfly have become an annual tradition on the Dressed Up household. I love choosing the perfect design and perfect photos to create our holiday masterpiece. We live far away from most of our family so our holiday cards are a great way to send them pictures of the kids while giving a cheerful greeting at the same time.

In the Christmas card section, you can chose from folded, flat stationary or flat photo cards. Personally, I’m a fan of the folded cards since I’m more of a traditionalist when it comes to holiday cards. The beauty of Shutterfly is that there’s something for everyone. You’ll find the perfect card to send your love to all of your friends and family.

Are you looking for a great gift for the grandparents? Photo books are perfect! What grandparent isn’t going to swoon over a book full of pictures of the most adorable kids on planet?

If a whole book is too much for you this time of the year, and let’s be honest, we all have 8 million other things to be doing, you can choose from lots of other awesome photo gifts. Gerald’s family is made up of card sharks. Seriously, these people are ALWAYS playing cards. You’d better believe these playing cards will be in several stockings this year.

I don’t want to hog all the Shutterfly goodness for myself, so I’m giving three of you a chance to get some cards of your own. Shutterfly has given me three gift codes for 25 cards each. Leave me a comment with your favorite holiday carol and you’ll be entered to win one. Contest closes on 11/15/11 at 11:59pm CST. One entry per person, please.

Does O, Come All Ye Faithful count as a carol? It’s my favorite Christmas song. Maybe Rudolph, the Red Nosed Reindeer is a better answer because I actually know all of the words?

There was a version of Silent Night we sang in high school choir I have always loved that we did in German.

I have always liked Carol of the Bells. And I think I didn’t order enough cards, so this would help!

BNL’s God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen – I could listen to it all year long.

O Come, All Ye Faithful. I hope I can get my Christmas cards out early this year!

    Silent night!

O Holy Night is definitely on the top of my list. Now I just have to get pictures taken so we can send Christmas cards.

I love Silent Night sung in church on Christmas Eve but my favorite to hear on the radio is probably “This Christmas” by Donny Hathaway.

I love Carol of the Bells and Jingle Bells. My eldest son is learning to play these on the piano for me. *Happy Sigh*

I love Carol of the Bells. I love Shutterfly’s photo books but I’ve never tried their cards!

Even though I don’t believe in the religion behind Christmas, my favorite songs are the religious ones. I don’t get it. Secularly, I love “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas.”

Hooray! Put me in for the give-away whatsit…

My favorite carol is “O Come Emmanuel”
My favorite radio Christmas song is U2′s cover of “It’s Christmas (Baby, please come home)”

I love Shutterfly, and I love Christmas carols. :) I think my favorite is Jingle Bells…but Winter Wonderland is a close second, although I think it’s more of a holiday song rather than a Christmas carol.

My favorite carol is “O Holy Night”. It brings tears to my eyes every time I hear it. That’s what Christmas is all about, Charlie Brown. ;-)

How to pick a favorite when I love so many! O Holy Night is probably the one that stands out in the crowd, but Silent Night, O Come All Ye Faithful and Joy To The World are right behind it.

  17. Janet Boyanton on November 15, 2011 2:08 pm

O Come O come Emmanuel is my favorite. In the secular songs I like White Christmas.

  18. Michael Goldberg on November 15, 2011 3:01 pm

    I like “Silent Night”

  19. Melissa on November 15, 2011 3:31 pm

My favorite is “Oh Holy Night.” The fall on your knees part makes me well up!

  20. Roseann Moss on November 15, 2011 3:37 pm

I love the Little Drummer Boy. From little and still now as an adult, I am always doing the rump bump part of the drum.

  21. Lauren on November 15, 2011 4:01 pm

    Silver Bells is my favorite!!

  22. Amy on November 15, 2011 5:01 pm

I love O Holy Night. It is my favorite Christmas Carol!

  23. Lisa on November 15, 2011 5:35 pm

It’s *so* hard to actually know which one to pick as an all time favorite, as I love Holiday Songs. I never used to care for, but now absolutely love “Little Drummer Boy” but for a more contemporary song, I love Mariah Carey “All I Want For Christmas” But as a child I loved “Here Comes Santa Claus” (Sung by Bing Crosby I think) and then there is Nat King Cole “The Christmas Song”…SEE I can’t just pick just one! LOL But thank you for the giveaway…it’s very generous of you to do so!

  24. Julie on November 15, 2011 7:26 pm

I love them all, except Little Drummer Boy. Which of course is my husband’s favorite.

What I really love is the obscure funny ones that I hope for and wait to hear on the radio. Like Walking Round in Women’s Underwear.

Then there’s anything by Straight No Chaser. Man, I love Christmas music.

  25. Joy Wyse on November 15, 2011 7:32 pm

With my name there are two favorite Carols: “The Three WISE Men” and.”JOY to the World.” After all, spell JOY. J= JESUS First, O= OTHERS second, and Y= YOURSELF last! MERRY CHRISTMAS.

  26. Mary on November 15, 2011 7:37 pm

I love “Feliz Navidad”-Jose Feliciano!!! It really gets me into the holiday spirit!

  27. Patti Youngblood on November 15, 2011 9:35 pm

My favorite Christmas carol was Christmas of 2007, we had gone to Santa Cruz, CA to spend it with the oldest of our children. Christmas morning my husband and I walked to mass at the Shrine of St. Joseph, located on the north side of Monterey Bay. During the service, members of the choir began to hum Oh Little Town of Bethlehem as the lector read the Christmas Story. This will always be one of the most memorable renditions of Oh Little Town of Bethlehem.
