His child has only had a few types of candy in his entire life - he is 7. I don't know how long that is going to last, but it's working for him now. I go through the candy, take what they cannot eat, put the rest in a gallon sized bag, and they get to eat one piece 2-3 times a day. Seems to work for us. *shrug* peace...
