How much do you think gallstones weigh, anyway?
January 7th, 2009
I’m scheduled for my gallbladder removal surgery tomorrow at 7:30 am. That means at the hospital at 5:30, which also means leaving the house by 4:45.
4:45.
In the morning.
Or in the middle of the night, really.
Anyhow, I’ll catch you on the flip side, peeps. Here’s to heavy gallstones and a post-op weight loss!

Oh Erica, big hugs coming your way. I hope you recover quickly. Many hugs!!
We’ll be thinking about you! Oh, and don’t forget that they pump you full of IV fluid so don’t weigh yourself until about a week after the surgery! Take care -
Ugh, but at least you got it scheduled! Good luck!
I’m so glad they finally got it scheduled and it’s going to be out & done with! Wishing you a speedy recovery.
Hope it goes well- like I said, I felt SO MUCH better after I had the silly thing removed- and I noticed no difference in digestion, either. (Though I had lived for a long time without a functioning gall bladder, so my body had already adjusted.)
Let us know how it goes!!
Hope you recover quickly and as painlessly as possible. I wish you all kinds of happiness, Erica. Take Care.
Thinking of you tonight. Hope your surgery went well!
Get better soon.
I lost half a lb after they took it out
Good luck and get well soon!
I already know you’re all right, I read your tweet but I just wanted to say, ‘what up, yo?’
