Five Months Post-Op

December 22nd, 2008

*Pics are here*

Yesterday was five months since my gastric bypass. Stats are as follows:
Weight – 220
Pounds lost – 80
Size – 16/18
Bra size – 40DDD (I’ve lost FOUR band sizes and NO cup sizes. WTF is that about? Also, the boobies are starting to look like tube socks with a tennis ball in the end.)

I’m feeling really good these days. I’m taking my supplements regularly, but still not getting enough protein. I don’t have a good reason for this, either.

I’ve cancelled my gym membership because I wasn’t going. Instead, I’m jumping on the 30 Day Shred bandwagon. I picked up the video last night and watched the level one workout. Jebus. I was tired after just watching it. I have a feeling that it’s going to totally kick my ass. Which is EXACTLY what I need. I don’t just want to be skinny. I want to be strong and fit.

Well, you look great, I can vouch for that.

The Shred. I did that thing ONCE. It IS scary, but I heard it gets better. I wouldn’t know.

Haha! Love the spanx photo. I have a love/hate relationship with spanx. Sometimes I HATE to feel like a sausage. Other times, AH, I am so grateful. for the …. casing.

You look awesome and I’m still in AWE of your haircut. I wish I had the face to pull it off.

As for 30 Day Shred, I did it for exactly 2 weeks before getting pregnant (and feeling like ass) and holy hell it’s hard. I do like that it is quick and no nonsense. Let us know how it goes!

Wow, you look great Erica. I love that dress too! Keep up the good work. And good luck with Shred. I’ve never tried that one. Maybe I should join that bandwagon.

You sexy thing in that little black dress! Sorry to hear about the boob situation, but I think it happens to everyone. Stupid gravity.
