Um, thanks
Dear The Children’s Place,
While I deeply appreciate you remembering my birthday, I’m unsure how your gift of 20% my next purchase will benefit me. Are you implying that the perfect way to celebrate my upcoming birthday is to buy tiny clothes for myself? Funny, but I didn’t add “size 18 month jeans” to my birthday gift idea list this year.
I guess it’s the thought that counts, huh?
Love,
Erica
(Hey, if you want the coupon, email me. I’ll totally give it to you. Cuz I’m cool like that. It’s erica @ andnoplacetogo dot com)

If it’s a store that you frequent, don’t question the 20% off, just go for it!
How funny is it that a lot of people would totally spend birthday money on teeny little clothes?
I think I’ve gotten enough tcp to last me till next spring! I’m good!
It is a tad strange. Although last year I spent a bulk of my Christmas money on new spring/summer clothes for Zachariah. Guess they’re hoping it will give us just one more reason to buy something from them with the extra discount.
What? It’s your BIRTHDAY? WHEN?
I love birthday coupons, though, but I agree that this one would be a tad more appropriate for the kid’s birthday than for yours. Still, a discount is a discount!
