Is this seriously another post about MY HAIR??

Yes. Yes, it is.

I got it cut even shorter. I meant to take a picture of it last night when I got home, but it was already 7:30 and I had to put the baby to bed and still eat dinner. So instead of a “fresh from the salon” photo, you’re getting my first attempt at styling it this morning.

This first photo is brought to you courtesy of my bathroom mirror. Of course, no flash = crappy photo, but flash + mirror = even crappier photo.

I decided to move out to the natural light in front of my bedroom window. Having a large DSL camera means it’s difficult to take a picture of yourself at arm’s reach.  Therefore, if I look like a complete dork it’s because of the camera, not actual dorkness on my part, k?

    Daisy - You’re right, it IS more upkeep. I have to get it cut every five weeks or so, as opposed to my long hair that didn’t need to be cut unless I wanted one. But, this cut makes me feel cute and put-together. My old mom ponytail did not. And I decided that the time and money it takes for this cut is worth it. I deserve to feel cute. Even if I’m only going to Target.

    Super cute. I’m jealous. And I like my hair better short, too. I thought I would mourn the passing of the mom ponytail, but it is nicer to feel pulled together. Of course, now I’m always LATE to everything due to having to style my hair, but damn it, I’m a CUTE late!
