Yes, I’m an idiot.
So, I thought I’d be all cool and change my template today. I did surprisingly well, except for the word verification crap. I had Gerald install it last week because I was getting 1,000,007 spamments. Apparently, there was some code-y thing-a-mah-jig I was supposed to do when I moved over to the new template and I didn’t do it.
Sorry if you tried to comment today and couldn’t. It’s all fixed now, so please feel free to comment on the below post. I’m still looking for answers. And comment again to tell me what you think about the new look. kthnxbai

I don’t really have any advice for your thumb sucker. What I said before is that I once knicked Zachariah’s finger when I was trimming his nails. He was only 3 months old. I put a bandaid on and put one of those newborn mittens on his for a while. That worked then, but it wouldn’t work now. Maybe, though, you can get her to leave some gloves or mittens on for a little while. Good luck.

As a OLD (because you thought 30 was old, and since I’ll hit the big 40 in May that makes me OLD not just OLDER) mother, all I can say is, the thumb thing, well good luck with that. My daughter, the senior in high school, just stopped sucking her thumb this summer when she had her tonsils out. We tried EVERYTHING! NOTHING worked. (except surgery, which would really be extreme in this case)
Anyway, as for the boo boo, not much you can do. When it starts hurting her too much, she will probably back away from sucking it for awhile, giving it time to heal. When my daughter had this problem, she just found a new way to suck it.
As for the template….LOVE IT! Oh and the pics of you and yours, PRICELESS! Simply adorable. So, stop being hard on yourself! You have a great family and you are a great mom.

Why am I the only person in the blogosphere who is not innundated with spam comments? And I don’t even HAVE word verification, AND I swear like a motherfucker.
I was also wondering if that liquid bandage stuff would be okay? If you could keep the thumb out of her mouth long enough for it to dry.
I keep thinking of that liquid bandage stuff, but I don’t know if it’s toxic. I guess I should call the pediatrician and ask.
