It’d be easier if they just recalled our kids
Baby Einstein Blocks have been recalled. Read here.
Luckily, Maddie’s narrowly escaped the recall. Hers are in that batch, but not recalled. To be safe, though, I’ve taken the blue block away from her.
The Evenflo Triumph car seat has also been recalled. Of course, Maddie has this, too. Hers is outside the date parameters again, so we dodged another bullet.

Aww, man…another recall! Grr. We haven’t been affected by many of the recalls yet. We do have a Simplicity crib, but it’s ok. To be safe I ordered the kit anyway. I’ll have to check the carseat in Matt’s truck. I think it’s Evenflo, but I don’t remember the name. What a pain!
Dang - we managed to dodge all the recalls so far UNTIL NOW!!! we have the blocks and two of the car seats. craaaaap. i just checked them and I’m chucking the blocks and registering for two conversion kits on the seats. THANK YOU for letting me know.
So now I owe you - come in to the lou on a cheat day and we’ll take you to dinner at the Olympia. Flaming cheese for everyone!!!!
Our car seats start with 359 and were made November 3rd–2 days later. But the cover CAN be removed as they describe. So what the crap? I might call about the car seats–but I feel a little dumb since they specifically say that seats manufactured on or after the 1st aren’t affected.
Mine is the same, too. It starts with 359 and the cover fastens the same way. I’m not sure what the deal is at all, Swistle.
