Damn it feels good to be a gangsta
I got my new car. It’s a Kia Sedona and I luurrve it. It’s purty.
The night we got it, I drove around town with my iPod blastin the tunes. I was the shit, man. Until I realized that I was driving an effing minivan, for crissake. All coolness was gone like that.
Regardless of the lack of street cred, I’m glad we got it. It has loads of room and is fully loaded with all the buttons and gadgets I think I need.
The pimpmobile:
My order from Baby Legs finally came in. Now who’s got street cred?
Gerald says they make her look fat. Um, no. They make her look ADORABLE.

For some reason, the pink pair is a lot shorter than the others. I checked my order confirm and it doesn’t say they’re any different. Weird.

Oh, your new van sounds really nice. It will be a while before I’m ready to get one, so I’m a wee bit jealous.
Oh those delicious little baby legs! I think they look great! And I love the different ones you choose. I’m hoping to purchase some for my next *future* baby.
Funny… I drive an old VW cabrio, which is probably the car of choice for sorority girls. So don’t ask how I ended up with it. But it’s paid for and runs well, so that’s a good reason to keep it.
My husband is embarrassed to switch cars with me though, and since I am usually driving around with a toddler in tow, I don’t even get to put the top down. I think I would prefer the mini van.
Love it!
Very nice! And your coolness may not have been gone; it really depends on what kind of music was blaring from your iPod. Neil Diamond (and the like) = not cool. Gwen Stefani (and the like) = cool.
Congrats on your new ride! My friend K just bought one not too long ago and actually said to me, “it’s the most pimp ride I’ve ever had!” Who knew? I totally saw a t-shirt I would love to send you in regards to said purchase…
Ohhhhhhh, yeahhhhhhhhhh.
Now you have a THIRD ROW OF COOL.
God, Erica, you can be so damn funny! You were my first “lol” of the day. Dan had to come in to see why I was laughing so hard, hehehehe.
Nice wheels.
Nice legs too. ahahaha
I have serious mini van-envy. Everytime I tell the Hub that we neeeeed one, especially if we have a second kid, he gets this look as if I’m trying to strike him dead. The man has wanted a MINI, minus the “van” part, for years so I have to give him some time to come around.
Also, I love babylegs! I just hope that Zoe’s fit her from last year. They rock!
