Medical Mysteries

Maddie’s pediatrician thinks she may have the reflux. Her ear isn’t any better and the doc thinks it could be reflux irritating her ear instead of an infection. So, we’re trying a new formula to see if that helps. If we need to, we’re going to try Zantac. After that, the next step will be trying allergy medicine when she’s old enough. Let’s hope this formula helps and we can stop before we have to embark on this journey of Guess Maddie’s Problem.

Oh, and for those of you playing along at home, our girl now weighs 11 lbs even. We haven’t decided whether we’re going with Jenny Craig or Weight Watchers. Does anyone know how many points are in four ounces of formula? If she keeps gaining at this rate she’s going to be wearing her 6 month outfits next week. Hey, at least she’ll get to stop wearing pink.

  1. Hear what I am saying….weight gain is the sign of a healthy baby! I nursed my baby exclusively til 6 months. At 3 months and 17 pounds goofy people told me I needed to watch out..like my child had an eating disorder! The boy is 18 6 foot and barely 155 pounds!

Don’t worry the eating habits don’t happen this early.

Repeat after me…I am a great mom. I do what is best for my baby. I will move heaven and earth to raise my gal. I have blogger friends who believe I am the greatest new mom ever! Ignore all others!
