Make it stop!!
I’m up to my eyeballs in a serious pregnancy craving. It’s been several days now, and I keep hoping that it will GO AWAY ALREADY. But, nooooooo… it just sticks around taunting me. Making me crazy with impotent desire.
What evil, insidious item is it that mocks me so? Peppermint ice cream. Oh God, how I want it. But my horrible wonderful husband won’t get it for me because of the damn diabetes.
The only pleasurable thing about pregnancy is the cravings. What do you have left when those are stripped away? Backache, heartburn, and bed rest. Woo-frickin-hoo.
How pathetic do I sound? Wait. Don’t answer that. I don’t think I want to know.

Is there a sugar free option? Would hard (sugar-free) peppermint candy help? Are you craving peppermint ice cream because of the heartburn, it would sure seem like a great way to soothe your stomach. There has to be something you can do, otherwise someone could get hurt!
I’m ignoring the last paragraph!

Erica,
To answer your previous question, yes, we’re still here and we still love you!
Don’t discount the idea of sleeping in the recliner! I did that for the last few weeks when I was pregnant. The only real problem I recall was that it was nearly impossible to get out of the chair without assistance.
Please take good care of yourself. Soon enough you’ll be able to trade these problems for a diferent set.
Hugs,
Bonnie
you are almost there girl. Leave the sugar alone. It will make the baby sleepy and she can’t come home soon enough. Sugar free is still not for real!

I have to confess! Yesterday, Gerald took me to get a little peppermint ice cream milk shake. I had a couple of sips and the rest of it is in the freezer. I just needed a little bit to banish the craving. Let’s hope there aren’t anymore of those in the next 5 weeks!
