A good week
This week is going to be great. Today, I have a doctor’s appointment and I’m looking forward to hearing that things are going well. I’ve had a few contractions, but less than I was having. As long as I haven’t started dilating, then things are a raging success.
Gerald only works today and tomorrow, so I won’t be alone for five whole days. I cannot wait! It’s like Christmas……er, Thanksgiving! He’s going to do some deep cleaning in the house this week and that’s going to be hard for me. I hate having to sit still when someone else is cleaning. I feel like I’m not pulling my weight. I try to tell myself that it’s because I can’t help, not that I won’t help, but that never seems to make me feel better. I do have to admit that I’m really looking forward to a clean house.
I have all the things I need to make our mini-Thanksgiving dinner. We’re having a mesquite smoked turkey breast, mashed potatoes, broccoli with cheese sauce, crescent rolls and pumpkin pie. I’ve never made a pumpkin pie before. I’m looking forward to trying it.
On Friday, we’re taking my dad and his girlfriend to the Parade of Lights downtown. All the floats are made of lights and then afterward, they light the big tree in the square. I’ve never been in the 10 years I’ve lived here. Yes, we’re taking chairs. I’m not going to be standing for hours. I want a Christmas baby. Not a Thanksgiving baby.

Hey Erica,
Glad to hear things are progressing nicely with your pregnancy. I was worried for you. We miss (well I do anyway) you at work. Keep your little girl warm on Fri. at the parade so she will stay in longer. Have fun!
Miss you,
Tina S
This is good news Erica, enjoy Thanksgiving, have fun, but take care.
Warm hugs,
Paul.
