Good news, everyone

I saw my OB today and things are looking good. No change since last week, which is more than I could ask for. He also gave me the green light to take a walk around the block a couple times a week or even go out to dinner or a movie. That will really help my sanity : )

I also stopped by my office today, since it’s right down the street from the hospital. I had some forms to drop off for HR and it was a nice chance to visit with my friends. I didn’t know how much I missed them all until I got to see them again. I’m sure going to miss them over the next few months.

I got my last half a paycheck today. *sigh* The life of penny pinching has officially begun. Gerald has already talked to me about water and heat/ac consumption. I wouldn’t be surprised if he started handing out ration coupons soon ….”Please sir, may I have some more?”

  4. This is great news! Enjoy your freedom and do take it easy.

Last year I found myself looking for ways to economize with my household expenses. There are many things you can control. I bundled my phone, cell and DSL, that saved nearly $50.00 per month. Laundry, once a week. Heat and a/c off when I’m gone and on in the morning and evening only. Grocery store only once per week. Dinners out…rarely. Doing these things, I was able to shave nearly $200.00 per month off my expenses. Try it, once you start it becomes a fun challenge.

Sorry for the long comment! Hey, no I’m not…it’ll give you something to do for a few moments.
